What fragrance should I choose for Mother’s Day? Know her tastes!
So how can you offer a perfume without making a mistake? Start by investigating your mom’s habits, her favorite fragrances, her olfactory wardrobe. Forget your tastes and focus on her world. Above all, it’s essential to note the name of the bottle(s) in her room and identify their olfactory notes. It’s also important to find out which notes she doesn’t like: one note can sometimes be enough to put a person off a perfume!
When creating the perfume on our website, our algorithm will direct you to the ingredients your mom loves, according to the fragrances she wears. You can then make your selections from the formulas created by our perfumers to compose THE perfect perfume. Our perfumers will also be able to suggest combinations of ingredients directly to you, depending on your mother’s favourite fragrance.

Now that you know her tastes, why not give your mom a personalized fragrance instead of a standard essence? All our fragrances are extremely creative and unique. In each composition, we use the finest natural ingredients in high concentrations so that the fragrance lasts all day on the skin. All our perfumes are handcrafted in our Parisian workshops, in the tradition of French Haute Parfumerie. Your mom deserves the best!
At Sillages Paris, you have the choice to compose the perfect perfume for your mother yourself or give her the opportunity to create it herself with our gift cards. All the combinations of ingredients offered on our website are part of the hundreds of formulas created by our perfumers, to ensure you a perfect olfactory rendering. Each bottle is then delivered with samples to test the fragrance. Does your mom love it? Then let her open the bottle so she can start enjoying her Sillage! And if she doesn’t like it? Return the bottle free of charge for an exchange or a 100% refund!
A perfume created by you or by her, with our perfumers
If you decide to compose your own perfume, go to our website and choose from 3 to 6 ingredients from our list of scents. All the combinations of ingredients offered are part of the formulas created by our perfumers. So you can’t go wrong during the creation process! If you don’t know your mom’s favourite ingredients, tell our perfumers which fragrances she likes, and they will find the notes that she likes for you. Our perfumers can also suggest ingredient selections directly to you, based on her favourite fragrance. It’s up to you!
The no-problemo way : a gift card
You can also let your mom compose her own perfume by offering her a gift e-card for a 15 ml (35 €) or 50 ml (83 €) bottle. The e-card will be emailed to her on the date you have selected, with a note from you and a gift code.
Your mom will then be able to create her perfume for free, either on our website or by making an appointment in our Parisian workshops. She will then be able to enjoy a unique and rare immersion experience in the world of Haute Parfumerie, by composing her perfect fragrance directly on the spot, with the help of our experts!
At Sillages Paris, we want to celebrate both mothers and their children on Mother’s Day! Until May 25th, offer your mom her personalized perfume in 50 ml format (bottle or e-gift card), and Sillages Paris will give you a free 15 ml bottle of YOUR own personalized perfume!
How does it work? Add your mother’s perfume (or gift card) in the 50 ml format to the checkout basket, then add your 15 ml bottle of perfume. Use the code OH-YAY before confirming your order.
