PITTI FRAGRANZE: the unmissable niche perfumery event
The 17th edition of the International Exhibition of Niche Perfumery was once again held in Florence, as it is every year. This year’s show was held from September 13 to 15, 2019, and welcomed more than 150 niche perfumery brands. Among the highlights of the 2019 edition of Pitti Fragranze was a tribute to the great Master Perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, curated by Chandler Burr, as well as a signing of the latest opus by the famous perfume writer Michael Edwards.
This must-attend event welcomes the perfume industry’s biggest names and the most prestigious noses in Florence. They are joined by professionals who discuss the latest trends and new innovations in selective perfumery, as well as the links between fragrances and today’s lifestyles.

The new paradigm of online/offline commerce
The conference, entitled “A PLEASANT WELCOME: DESIGN MATTERS IN THE ONLINE/OFFLINE RETAIL“, explored the future of the perfume trade. How is the perfume customer evolving? What do they need? How can our single-brand and multi-brand shops, online and offline, evolve accordingly?
The conference brought together several players who are “disrupting” the industry with new models that are re-enchanting the extraordinary world of perfume. With Maxime Garcia-Janin (CEO of Sillages Paris), also present were: Valentino Di Liello (CEO of Campomarzio70), Nicolas Cloutier (co-founder of Nose – Paris), Adriana Genro (store designer at PiùStore), and Sarah Rotheram (CEO of Miller Harris).
